WHAT: Cass Calder Smith/CCS Architecture book signing event.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 20th, 5-7pm
WHERE: The Village Pub. 2967 Woodside Rd, Woodside, CA 94062
Join Architect Cass Calder Smith of CCS ARCHITECTURE in celebrating the release of the firm’s new book: “EAT, LIVE, WORK“. This monograph – the firm’s first – showcases over 40 projects completed over the past 20 years.
The event will be held in association with the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. The residency’s award-winning Middlebrook Studios are prominently featured in Eat, Live, Work and have provided inspirational live/work space for over 60 poets, playwrights, prose writers and media artists since their addition to the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in 2011.
Prolific photographer and Djerassi alumni Robert Buelteman’s book “Eighteen Days in June” will also be available for purchase. This book is a collection of stunning photographs of the coastal grasslands and redwood forests that comprise the artists’ community in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Woodside. Buelteman’s photos also grace the walls of the Village Pub.
A portion of all book sales will support the “gift of time” for artists at the Djerassi Program.
Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.
Please note, space is extremely limited, advance RSVP is required
