Christopher has grown up living all across the US – coast to coast, up down and in the middle. He studied architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Mies van der Rohe’s inspiring and auspicious Crown Hall and received his 5-year Bachelor of Architecture in 2009. While studying, Christopher enjoyed the opportunity of a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and to travel throughout Europe. After graduating and still enamored with Copenhagen, Danish design, and the beautiful European lifestyle, Christopher packed his belongings (and his cat) and moved to Denmark.
Living in Denmark for 6 years, Christopher worked with several interior architects on hospitality, retail, and restaurant projects. Heavily influenced by Scandinavian design, he is fascinated with honest and authentic materials, design, and spaces.
Always willing to experience something new, when the chance came to move to San Francisco, he couldn’t resist. He is now excited to explore this part of the world. In his free time, Christopher enjoys fitness, riding his classic Swedish Pilen bike, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends out in the sun. Christopher joined CCS as a Designer in June 2015.
