Dera-Jill Pozner, LEED AP
Dera-Jill is a designer with 9 years experience. Her project experience includes residential, restaurant, commercial, healthcare, and research laboratories. She has been responsible for design and development of projects ranging from $500,000 to $200 million.
Dera-Jill received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University. After completing her degree, she received the Tradewell Fellowship at the Center for Innovation in Health Facilities in Houston, Texas to research medical planning and design. Her research was focused on high-performance design in healthcare construction. She applied her research to practice at Watkins Hamilton Ross and Anshen + Allen Architects, where she was a project architect and designer for multiple total replacement hospitals across the country and internationally. She has designed facilities for all major medical service lines. Her projects have appeared in Architectural Record, Modern Healthcare as well as other trade publications.
Since joining CCS in 2005, she has designed and managed numerous sustainable residential and restaurant projects. A native of Massachusetts, she has lived in California since 2001. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and is currently pursuing licensure.
