Taylor Lawson is an Associate Principal and Senior Project Manager at CCS Architecture’s New York office and has been practicing in New York City since 1996.
After receiving his Masters of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, Taylor worked in Philadelphia with Wesley Wei Architects, on a range of highly detailed private houses and museum projects. Since coming to New York he has designed and managed projects ranging from 2,000 to 100,000sf. The projects have included high-end apartment renovations throughout Manhattan, new commercial and residential condominium buildings in Soho and Chelsea, a number of private houses in the metropolitan area, and multiple restaurants and hotels from coast to coast.
Taylor joined CCS in 2005 and oversees the New York studio, taking a lead role in design and management. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Phaidon Atlas of Architecture, PA and Record Houses and he continues to be a visiting critic at architectural programs around the country.
Taylor’s recently completed projects include Al Yasmine and Al Manar commercial buildings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Lower Lodge building and Gipsy Trail Club, and several private residences in NYC and in the Hamptons. He has an ongoing relationship with Delaware North, delivering a number of successful airport concessions concept packages as well as new restaurants in Atlanta, Buffalo, Charleston and Florida.
